2nd-Level .tw ready to open

Very important: 2nd-level .tw domain name will be soon opened up for public registration. Registration policy (especially policy for sunrise period) are now open for comments. (see this link, in BIG5 Chinese). You can send your comment by using this form.

(zh-tw)值得提一下, 很多好名字被保留(reserve words)起來, 有一大部分是ICANN的關係, 還有三字元的國名簡稱(兩字元如u2.tw是不能註冊的). 另外TWNIC本身的保留字其實不多, 也不會有人有興趣....

個人認為敝單位開放第二層絕對是明智之舉, 想想nike(如www.nikerunning.tw), adidas (www.impossibleisnothing.tw), ibm (www.ebusinessondemand.tw), motorola (www.hellomoto.tw)...多少國內外知名品牌可以好好在domain name上面發揮命名創意, 而不用受".com.tw"的限制...
