The annual Taiwan Bloggers meet up, Taiwan Blogger BoF , will be held on this coming Sunday (August 3rd) in 44 South Village (zh-wikipedia), a civil culture site next to Taipei 101, the landmark of the city. Thousands of island's bloggers are expected to come and celebrate this special day.
The title of the 2008 event is "24H.Mash.Up.Party", which reflect this year's 24-hour single track run down consisting of various talks, gatherings and events. Limited numbers of one-day pass were sold out in a few hour after announcement made via Twitter.
Single entry pass to each event is still available (zh-TW).
The keynote will invite Isaac Mao (founder of CNBloggerCon), Jeremiah Foo (founder of MY/SG BloggerCon), and former Editor-in-Chief of Chinatimes.com, Mr. Kuo Chi Chen to talk about the "Jiang-Hu" (?) of Chinese Blogsphere. Other sessions cover NPO web clinic, Building future media, HappyWeb's Demomo Show for hard-core geeks and developers, StartUp Match organized by Taiwan's top-notch business blogger Mr.6. The evening highlight would be celebrity blogger Carol's 6th Punch Party, the creative idea workshop presented by Taiwan web / business thought leaders and activists.
I am glad that I can be a happy participant this year :-) See you soon!
