This morning I got a call from a local TV news reporter asking about whether I know the owner of this website--www.beautyleg.com

No, I don't. I am not in the beauty business or leg business. I also don't do dot-com inquiries~~ -_-

Anyway I helped check the WHOIS record for her (the reporter). So the news spread out this afternoon!

I was thinking to join the website as a member....I got a pair of hairy legs, want a piece of them?

Thanks to Richard Stastny's introduction, Dr. Tseng and I are invited to speak in the ENUM Summit 2005 in Miami. My speech will be focusing on ENUM administration (lessons learned from local ENUM trial) , country specific numbering plan, and my humble views for its future development.

News Feed

TWNIC has been subscribed to a news clipping service since early last year. It helps save sometimes for me to monitor what's going on by some pre-defined keywords. Twice a day I got a newsfeed in emails as shown.

Companies which provide such kind of service may soon lose their jobs because of RSS subscription, without a doubt...

Salt and Bread

Last Saturday I was invited to join small gathering w/ my wife's friend Morna and her sister (namely Morna's sister with a lovely adorable name but I must be too drunk to remember her name) in a Russian restaurant in Taipei, called "Salt and Bread". It was definitely entertaining, the presentation of the food (notably the "loving flame"--ice cream covered by coated chocolate under liquor fire) , the Ukrainian dancer, etc....and drinking "below 42" Vodka in that -20C bar was the highlight of the evening.

I feel terribly sorry for the ladies because they offered me such wonderful food, but what I gave in return was a lousy talk of "what is BLOG"....

Merry 2004 and Happy 2005!!

When there's more happiness needed at this moment, my late-arrived happy-new-year wishes to all my dear friends and colleagues, a low-cholesterol, away-from-natural-disaster, and lovely new year of 2005!

I am sincerely grateful yet sorry for those who had sent x'mas card to me and my family. I am too lazy this year and have not been able to reply one by one. The situation is like.....Right now it's about 5:30pm, 12/31, and I am still in the office righting reports and meeting minutes for the IPv6 2005 preview meeting held in the morning...Dr. Tseng officially announced my appointment as the project manager for the Taiwan IPv6 program office and I still feel that I am not that capable to accept this position. Challenges ARE ahead, and I do set up my mind to take on it but only god knows what would happen~~~~~~

Anyway It's been a wonderful 2 year in the 4th-floor of TWNIC's office and I will be moving to the 10th-floor after Jan. 7th, and I'll be looking for more oxygen to survive...:-P

Blogging TWING

My first time to do "live blogging", and for the 3rd TWING Camp.

Right now is about 10:30, we have currently 60 people here in 7 groups. Many old friends, and we attract new friends as well. HELLO!!! :-)

...and the TWING tradition goes on.....the wireless LAN is not working well, junk food is more than books...you may wonder, how these folks make the next generation Internet better?

Anyway, we here is because we believe. IN THE BEGINNING IS THE FUTURE. Let's celebrate the still-crazy-after-all-these-years TWING Camp!!
